Thailand PHUKET

Hong Island, Phuket

Phuket is Thailand’s biggest island and is conveniently attached to the mainland by two bridges located at the northern tip. 70% of Phuket is covered in mountains that run the full length of the island. The rest of the island is plain and coastline. The island is hugely popular travel destination for sun seekers looking for beautiful beaches to relax upon. Mining of tin and rubber production have been important players in the islands income over the years, but today tourism brings in the most revenue. Buses and motorbikes are the best way to navigate the island and allow you to reach all the secluded beaches and towns.
