Lake Como

In the northern regions of Italy there are numerous subalpine lakes that are popular during the summer seasons and make great holiday locations. A favorite amongst locals is Lake Como. The landscape surrounding the lake is stunning with amazing hiking paths and the water temperature stays relatively moderate, perfect for water activities. Another favorite is Lake Garda, located between Milan and Venice. Villages and Castles are located in the surrounding area and sandy beaches can be found along the southern shores.
