Delhi will confront your senses from the moment you step out onto the bustling streets.  Foot and wheel traffic never rest and it can be very overwhelming when trying to navigate through the city, but you quickly perfect your dodging technic. There are two distinct destinations of Delhi to travel to. New Delhi is one of the nine districts of Delhi that was built up by the British. It boasts a modern atmosphere with stylish restaurants, bars, cafes and a recent growth in high Indian cuisine. Old Delhi is home to the more traditional Indian feel with bustling bazaars and many Delhi attractions including the Red Fort and Jama Masjid.

It is made from red sandstone and is an early representation of Indo-Islamic architecture. Another grand structure made from red sandstone is Humayun’s Tomb which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. A modern structure which is nice to view against the historic buildings is the Lotus Temple which is a place of oneness for all religions and mankind.
