View over Darjeeling

Darjeeling is a stunning town situated in the Himalayas in the West Bengal state and is the last mountain stop on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway line.  Darjeeling is a great travel destination, providing travellers with spectacular views of Kanchenjunga Mountain (third highest peak) and across the Himalayan ranges. It is a place to get lost in amongst nature with walking tracks following old trading routes or in the charming music culture in which Darjeeling is highly regarded. Tea is another aspect which makes Darjeeling famous. Darjeeling tea is held in high esteem against other black teas available and is grown on the hills surrounding the town.
