Grand Canyon USA

The Grand Canyon is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The Grand Canyon was carved by the Colorado River over millions of years to make it the wonder it is today. The canyon is 227 miles (446 km) long and up to 18 miles (29 km) wide.  The Grand Canyon is also a National Park, which protects it from development and allows it to maintain its natural beauty. The weather at the Grand Canyon varies at what elevation you are at. Some spots even receive winter snow even though it is located in a hot weather climate. There are many ways to visit the Grand Canyon, but the best way is by taking a helicopter tour. With a helicopter tour, one can have the best view of the Grand Canyon and one can truly see the vastness of the canyon also. Camping on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is also a great way to experience the canyon.
