The coastline of Australia may be beautiful but the beauty continues when you visit some of the small islands of the coast. The Whitsunday Islands located off the north east coast, are well known for their white sand beaches and rich blue waters making them a perfect travel destination for sun seeking visitors. The Islands are also a top destination for sailors sailing in the southern hemisphere. Further down the coast awaits Fraser Island; the largest sand island in the world. Fraser Island has an eclectic ecosystem with rainforests, swamps, sand dunes and mangrove forests all co existing to create a beautiful island with only 360 in habitants.
